We are based in Ellicott City, Maryland. We provide in-person speech therapy to toddlers through teens in their homes, private schools, daycares, etc. in eastern Howard county including Ellicott City, Elkridge, Columbia, and neighboring areas. Teletherapy services are available to anyone residing in Maryland.

We are a niche practice that works with speech sound disorders, stuttering, and/or late talkers.

We travel to you! We provide the flexibility of having your child seen in the comfort of your home, their daycare, private school, Grandma's house, or other community locations. Sessions can also be provided virtually for Maryland residents, which is a very convenient option for many families.

We wish that we had a crystal ball for this (understandably) very popular question! Every child is different. It is hard to gauge how long it will take for things to “click.” We will say that the more home practice that takes place, the more likely it will be that skills will generalize more quickly. We pride ourselves on continually assessing how the child is responding to particular strategies or techniques and then changing them if necessary.

Sessions are 30 or 45 minutes depending on your child's individual needs. The number of weekly sessions are also individualized to your child, but are typically 1-2 times per week.

Raver Speech therapy is a private pay only practice. We are a very small practice and choose to spend our energy on delivering the best speech therapy possible. Insurance requires a mind-boggling amount of administrative work that this practice is not equipped for. However, we are happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement; if you have out of network benefits. This is the client's sole responsibility. Please note that payment is due at the time of service.

We accept debit, credit, HSA and FSA.

A 30 minute therapy session costs $80 and a 45 minute session is $120. Evaluation costs range from $100-$300 depending on the length of testing time required, and whether a full written report is desired.
